Designing a Soft Space for Game Discovery

Designed and shipped a game-discovery system from zero, solo, no ad budget.

CozyGamesDB started from a personal frustration: cozy games are defined by tone, not mechanics, so tag- and algorithm-based discovery (the Steam model) doesn't match how people browse. I designed, built, and shipped a fix, solo.

Browsing first: scan and recognize, not search and filter.

Steam's sprawling tags, mapped into activity-based filters.

Filtering refines, it doesn't gate the front door.

3.69 pages/session backs the bet: people explore, they don't bounce off one search result. The honest gap: return visits sit around 8%. Good at first discovery, not yet proven at bringing people back. That's next.

Abstraqt

Redesigning complex public-sector workflows end-to-end: requirements gathering, UX flows, Figma prototypes, developer handoff. Built reusable component libraries to improve consistency across the platform.

2023–2025

Sofidel

Led UX improvements for enterprise platforms at a €3B+ international manufacturing company. Designed data visualization dashboards used by teams across Europe, ran usability testing, and iterated based on findings within cross-functional Agile teams.
